1000 series aluminum coils and sheets

1000 series aluminum is also known as pure aluminum, which has the highest aluminum content (over 99.00%). Its price is relatively cheap, and it is also the most commonly used series, especially 1050 and 1060 series. The aluminum content of 1050 series is over 99.5%, while 1060 series is over 99.6%.

3000 series aluminum coils and sheets

The 3000 series, including 3004, 3004 and 3104, is known as AL-Mn alloy, which consists of 1.0-1.5% manganese elements. The AL-Mn series is often used in humid environments such as air conditioners, refrigerators and car underbody. Its price is higher than that of the 1000th series.

The strength of 3003 aluminum coil is slightly higher than 1000 series. Its ductility is high in annealed and semi-hardened conditions. But after hardening, its ductility and workability are poor, and corrosion resistance and weldability are improved. Compared with 3003, 3004 aluminum coil has higher strength. In addition, it has good processing performance, weldability and corrosion resistance. 3104 aluminum alloy has high strength and excellent elongation, as well as good corrosion resistance, formability and weldability. It is suitable for thinning and stretching to reduce material consumption.

5000 series aluminum coils and sheets

The 5000 series, including 5005, 5083, 5052, etc., is the most commonly used aluminum series. 3-5% magnesium is added to the series, so it is also known as aluminium-magnesium alloy. This series of aluminum is processed by continuous casting and rolling technology and belongs to the hot-rolled aluminum series, so it can also be further processed by oxidation. In China, aluminum 5000 series is one of the most mature series. Its main characteristics are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. The weight of the same area of magnesium-aluminum alloy is lighter than other aluminum series. Therefore, the 5000 series is often used in the aviation industry, for example in aircraft fuel tanks.

6000 series aluminum coils and sheets

The main alloying elements in the 6000 series aluminum alloy represented by 6061 are magnesium and silicon. This series aluminum alloy has medium strength, good corrosion resistance, good weldability and good oxidation effect.

It is widely used in various industrial structural parts requiring a certain strength and high corrosion resistance, such as aircraft parts, camera parts, couplings, marine accessories, electronic accessories, hinges, hydraulic pistons, computer case, car panels, etc.
